CLERGY


VERY REV. JOSEPH A. LOPEZ, J.C.L.

Pastor

Fr. Joseph was ordained on June 29, 2002, in the Diocese of Corpus Christi and has faithfully served our Diocese. He has been our Pastor here at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church since July 2021. Before Fr. Joseph was our Pastor; he was a fellow parishioner! Most Precious Blood is not just his assignment, it's his home. Fr. Joseph holds a bachelor's in philosophy from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia, PA. As well as a bachelor's in sacred theology, and a Licentiate of Canon Law from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas: Angelicum in Rome, Italy. His favorite saint is St. Jose Maria Escriva

REV. ARULARASU MATHIAS

Parochial Vicar

Fr. Mathias was ordained on November 11, 1990, in the Archdiocese of Shillong in India. He has faithfully served our parish since July 2023. Before Fr. Mathias came to the United States, he was a Philosophy professor at a Seminary in India and holds a Master's in Philosophy and a Master's in Counseling, and Psychotherapy. He enjoys watching cricket and has great devotion to the Divine Mercy and his favorite saint is St. John the Baptist, "He must increase, I must decrease!"

REV. JAVIER EBERTOWSKI

Parochial Vicar

Fr. Javier Ebertowski was ordained on June 14, 2025, in the Diocese of Corpus Christi. He was appointed to our parish in July 2026.

Deacon David Castillo is a part of our clergy here at MPB. He was ordained a permanent deacon on November 10, 2012, and has faithfully served our parish since then.

DEACON VINCE STARK

Permanent Deacon

Deacon Vince was ordained a permanent deacon on November 9th, 2024. He has served our parish as a deacon and has also been a faithful parishioner since 1988.  He is 1 of 11 siblings with 8 sisters. Deacon Vince says that St. Joseph is his favorite saint, but his powerhouse of saints is Mother Mary, St. Joseph, St. Jude, St. Benedict, and St. Faustina.

ELOY OZUNA

Facilities Manager

Eloy is our facilities Manager, he helps keep our parish and school grounds maintained, clean, and beautiful. He is a great cook, and you can always catch him on the dance floor at our parish events. Eloy has been a part of our parish staff since September 2021 and is huge part in many of the upgrades we have seen in our Main Church, and many other areas. His favorite saint is St. John Paul II.

MARI DONEZ

Parish Office Secretary

Mari started in January 2024 as our parish secretary and has been a lifelong parishioner here at MPB. She is the first face you see when you walk into our parish office, and whether you are there to ask a question, buy a prayer candle, or just visiting she is always helpful. Her favorite saint is St. Monica.

FAITH FORMATION


TINA VILLEGAS

Director of Parish Faith Formation and Discipleship

Tina has been a part of our parish staff since August 2022. While wearing many hats here at our parish, Tina oversees our Faith Formation department and all of the ministries that we have in our parish. She loves sloths because they remind her to slow down and to be present. Tina's favorite saint is St. Rita.

JUSTIN DE LOS SANTOS

Director of Youth Faith Formation and Discipleship

Justin joined our parish staff in May 2024 and serves as our youth minister. Leading High School Youth Group, Confirmation Preparation, and also assists in the social media and marketing of our parish and school. I love to spend time barbecuing for my family and going to the beach. He also enjoys beating our students at ping-pong and anyone that is willing to challenge him. Justin's favorite saint is St. Justin Martyr.


"My favorite part of youth ministry is getting to see the young men and women of our parish fall in love with Our Lord Jesus just as I did in High School. Having the opportunity to serve them is one of the greatest joys of my life."- Justin De Los Santos


STACIE BUNTING

Middle School Coordinator

Stacie has been a part of our team for about six years and faithfully volunteered for 15 years in our parish with various ministries. Stacie leads our middle school youth ministry for 7th-8th graders, and she also leads our Vacation Bible School each summer. She enjoys crafts and making things like quilts, and sweaters for her family. Stacie's favorite saint is St. Rita.

MICHELLE GUERRA

Faith Formation Attendance Clerk

Michelle has been a part of our team since the beginning of our 2025-26 Catechetical Year. She assists in many areas, but you will most likely see her as you are checking in your son or daughter for catechism classes, middle or high school youth group, or High School Confirmation Classes. A fun fact about Michelle is that she earned a black belt in Taekwondo in High School.


"The best part of my job is that it never actually feels like a job. I have the joy of watching children, teens, and women grow closer to Christ every day. Whether it's seeing the little ones arrive for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, our teens walk through the doors for youth group, or the ladies gather for Women in New Evangelization, it's a reminder of God's work in every stage of life. But more than anything, I love simply being in the presence of Jesus and having the privilege of serving Him through His Church."-Michelle Guerra


KAELIN BUNTING

Assistant of Parish Faith Formation and Discipleship

Kaelin is a new addition to our faith formation team, starting this July 2026! She assists with Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and with our Middle and High School youth ministries. She is a graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. She comes with an experience in working with Disney World through the Disney College Program. She worked in the Star Wars area and enjoyed seeing the imaginations of little ones come alive. Kaelin's favorite Saint is St. Gianna Beretta Molla.

When kids realize how the Good Shepherd loves them, when they come to see what wonderous gifts the sacraments are to us...there's so much rejoicing - and what we as catechists experience is just a tiny glimpse into what our Lord feels!"-Kaelin Bunting

SACRED MUSIC


DR. MEAGHAN KING

Director of Sacred Music

Dr. King has been a part of our team since 2024 and has been a major part of our beautiful liturgies. She has Graduated Magna cum Laude from Ave Maria University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts and graduated with Honors from Westminster Choir College in 2012 with a Master of Music with a double major in Organ Performance and Sacred Music. She also earned a Doctoral of Musical Arts from the University of Southern California in 2017 as well as the Organ Department Award. Areas of focus were Organ Performance, Sacred Music, Choral Conducting, and Music Theory Pedagogy. Dr. King is known to be an avid reader where she is always reading genres from sci-fi to true crimes and also a gamer in her free time. Her favorite Saints are St. Cecilia and St. Anthony.
