Sewing Angels

The Most Precious Blood Sewing Angels ministry was established in June 2003 by charter president Bertha Martinez and the late Margaret Roberts.  Its purpose is to assist MPB parish members and ministry groups with sewing related needs.  They also assist Corpus Chrissti community groups with specific requests.  The Sewing Angels sell items such as smple household sewing crafts and apparel for donations to raise funds for future projects.

Most recently, the Sewing Angels made 50 sashes for the Junior Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court St. Maria Goreeti #2380 institution ceremony on December 6, 2015.  Their tireles efforts enabled each young lady to have a beautiful sash on their special day.  Contact person is Bertha Martinez 361-993-0352.

"What is that in thine hand?" the Lord asked Dorcas.  She said, "A needle," and took what she had and she stitched for Christ's sake.  "All praise, then, to the needle that represented practical benevolence among the needy."
